• Conduct ultrasonic diagnostic procedures and record anatomical, pathological and physiological data for interpretation by a physician
• Explain procedures to the patient before testing and provide ultrasound-related education
• Assist physician during invasive procedures requiring ultrasound guidance
• Create preliminary reports in the PACs system for physicians
• Participate in staff development, in-service workshops and educational activities
• Act in a non-directive, non-judgmental manner, recognizing an individualâ™s religious, ethical and moral opinions and beliefs
• Comply with safety training and OSHA standards and regulations
• Maintain professional affiliations

• Completion of one of the following: Completion of an approved ultrasonography educational program or at least two years in Allied Health Educational Program and one-year on-the-job training in ultrasonography
• Maintain or be eligible for certification by the American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• Provide evidence of continuing education credits to fulfill accreditation requirements

Compensation: The pay for this position ranges from $35.00 - $57.00 per hour and is based on years of relevant experience and fetal echo certification.
