Responsibilities
⢠Perform high quality ultrasound exams and procedure per protocol in a timely manner. ⢠Prepares patients and exam rooms for procedures and assists physician during invasive procedures such as amniocentesis. ⢠Maintains proper operation of the ultrasound equipment. Recognizes equipment malfunctions and takes appropriate corrective action. ⢠Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of ultrasound supplies. ⢠Able to ensure customer satisfaction by limiting wait times, providing courteous service, and remaining professional. ⢠Participates in staff development, in-service workshops, professional development activities and meetings. ⢠Performs other assigned duties as directed. ⢠Able to maintain a calm and helpful attitude, even under times of stress, and take appropriate and reasonable steps to resolve issues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have 2 plus years of OB/MFM experience.
Able to perform Anatomy Scans, Multiples Gestations, Dopplers, BPPs, Amniocentesis
An individual must possess a current/valid certification in diagnostic ultrasound.
Maintain or be eligible for certification the American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
