The Inpatient Staff Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit provides direct/indirect nursing care to a wide range of patients i.e., postoperative patients, acutely ill patients, hospice, or psychiatry patients. Primary responsibilities will be providing direct patient care, which includes assessment, reassessments, medication administration, treatment administration/ interventions, AOL care, education, completion of required documentation,and involvement in committee,workgroup,or quality initiatives. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
