Chief Clinical Informatics
The Chief Health Informatics Officer (CHIO) is a physician who provides leadership in planning, direction, and support of an integrated program for health care informatics at the Phoenix VA Health Care System, Phoenix, AZ. The CHIO has primary responsibility for ensuring clinical staff have the appropriate training and support to effectively utilize the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) and other clinical applications that support healthcare delivery for patients and caregivers. To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending the completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements
