Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Per-Diem Nurse Practitioner for Hospice in Basking Ridge, New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Hospice Service Line in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. This role is a great opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to demonstrate their passion and develop advanced hospice skills while growing a program, all done in collaboration with a specialized interdisciplinary team.
This is a per-diem position, with the option to work one or two shifts per week. The hours are very flexible, with days, evenings, and nights available. As a nurse practioner on our hospice service line, you will provide advanced practice nursing services through palliation and management of the terminal condition and develop treatment plans for patients at home and possible other settings which may include general inpatient units, hospitals, assisted living, independent living, senior housing, and skilled nursing facilities.
Qualifications - Master's degree in Nursing is required
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- BLS certification is required
- 1-2 years of hospice experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
