Foundation Health Partners is actively recruiting an ambitious Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Pediatric Team.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are a 10-provider pediatric medicine clinic, part of a larger health system that has served the Fairbanks community for over 60 years. Our expertise runs from newborn care to adolescent issues and everything in between. As part of a rural health system, you will have the opportunity to manage aspects of care that you would have to pass off in other settings, allowing you to round out your skills and expand your breadth of experience.
Compensation: We offer a competitive salary based on experience, generous benefits, and a 40k sign-on bonus.Schedule: Typical schedules run M-F 40 hours per week; however, our clinic also offers extended hours and Saturday clinics.Team: This will be an opportunity to manage patients independently with physician oversight as needed for support.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of a physician assistant program.
Must be approved to practice as a Certified Physician Assistant by the State Board by proof of license/certification.
Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board, or may be in process.
Proficient in computer applications and database management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current BLS certification preferred.
Current or in process Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
A minimum of 3 years previous relevant experience.
