Restorative Nursing Assistant
The Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) is responsible for assisting with restorative nursing care functions with the purpose of facilitating optimal functional independence in the care of residents receiving preventive, subacute, chronic, maintenance, and hospice care. The distinguishing factor is that patient and resident assignments typically involve more complex nursing needs which can vary within a range of predictable to unpredictable requirements. The RNA will care for residents with acute to chronic conditions completed under close supervision by the Restorative Care Coordinator and Management with appropriate training and competencies for assigned task.
