Licensed Practical Nurse (PACT)
The Licensed Practical Nurse serves as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team with an assigned patient load. He/she engages in nursing care, which requires the knowledge and skills represented by licensure as an LPN. This LPN Position is located at the Bruce W Carter Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center1201 Northwest 16th Street Miami, FL 33125 The Licensed Practical Nurse maintains acceptable standards of practice under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Assignments are limited to situations demanding an exceptional degree of practical nursing knowledge and skills. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for selected critically ill patients, or long-term care patients. The LPN is accountable to his/her immediate supervisor as designated on the organizational chart
